More Solid State

So it's growing taller! Right now it's almost half as tall as I want it to be.

And about half as tall, and the big news that it's structurally sound! I can pick it up like it's a rigid thing and not like it's a really, really heavy and funny-shaped futon!

Dear Jordan at Kolok Gallery:

Please think of some other way to make money. You could sell art, for instance. Or hold a bake sale. Don't cash in on desperate MFAs who are willing to sell themselves this short.

And if you want to persist in making money by exploiting artists' fear, please don't do it on my fucking blog.

I hope I have made myself clear.

All my best,

Deborah Fisher

We do sell art, a good amount, actually. I was just trying to promote an opportunity for artists. It's not an opportunity to cash in.

I didn't mean to offend you, and I didn't think you would react this way. I wouldn't have posted it at all.

Why don't you just delete the post, if you think it's spam?

Again, I didn't mean to offend you, and I'm sorry.

Deb -- this piece is really awesome. I'm so into the layering I've seen in this and another of your pieces. It's highly resonant stuff.
