Deborah,

This image is wonderful. It's activating non-visual sensory areas, like taste and maybe other areas for which we don't have input organs.

It's hard to separate the image from the sculpture, in this on-line format, but I'm having a strong visceral reaction to something. It's so reassuring to view art and have it 'click', even more so when the experience is so many steps removed (and probably should be somewhat nullified at this point).

Thanks for the "something matters" reminder.
